Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Plateau State Council, Ayuku Pwaspo, has disclosed that the 2024 ‘Peace Walk,’ earlier scheduled for January, will now hold in February.

Pwaspo also said that for the first time, NUJ will hold a carol night on December 17 for its members.

Speaking shortly after yesterday’s walk at the NUJ Press Centre in Jos, the chairman thanked God for ensuring that the union did not record any casualty this year and prayed for the safety of the members before and after Christmas and the New Year festivities. Pwaspo is the first woman to head the union in its 50 years of existence.
