Qualified Nigerian supporters will get visas to World Cup, says Russian Embassy

The Russian Embassy in the country has assured members of the Nigerian Football Supporters Club (NFSC) planning to attend the 2018 World Cup of cooperation on the issuance of visas and other logistics.

Over 500 members of the club are expected to depart for Russia with about the same number expected from other parts of the world to cheer the Super Eagles at the global rendezvous, which kicks off on June 14, 2018.

National Chairman of the Supporters Club, Rev. Samuel Ikpea, who led a delegation to the embassy of Russia in Abuja on Wednesday, was reassured that there would be no hitches in the issuance of visas, considering the high discipline and credibility displayed by the country’s supporters in the past.
