Technical Adviser of Rangers FC of Enugu, Imama Amapakabo, says the club is determined to secure the three points at stake in tomorrow’s match against Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) FC in Lagos.

The club has been scheduled to face MFM tomorrow at their Agege Stadium base in Lagos.

Amapakabo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu yesterday that they would `not leave any stones unturned’ in the determination of the `Flying Antelopes’ at consolidating their position at the summit of the log.

“We just finished nine games and still at the top of the log and so, we want to continue to maintain our top placing and the only way to do so is to also get a good result against MFM.

“Although the league is still far from over, each of the 20 teams still has not less than 29 more matches to go; we pray to end the season with good result.

“I will like to get our first away win of the ongoing season in Lagos,’’ he said.

Amapakabo said the best way to win the league is by winning or drawing away matches, while ensuring that the three points from home games would be in the kitty.

“To be a champion, you need to win some away matches and at worst, secure draws and then ensure you win all your home matches.

“The NPFL is a strong league as we all know, you hardly win away draws let alone win at away before now, but things have changed for the better.

“Clubs now win at away and many drawn games have been recorded this season,’’ the technical adviser said.

He said that Rangers would be focusing on winning all matches, be it home or away.
