Research Model, Kaduna, Eyeanugie, Benin, set for Channels Kids Cup final

Research Model Primary School, Kawo, Kaduna State, will confront Eyeanugie Primary School, Benin City, Edo State, in today’s final of the 2015 Channels Kids Cup at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

It is a special day for the kids to celebrate their May 27, which is Children’s Day worldwide.

Research Model beat Christ The King Primary School, Uyo, Akwa Ibom St, while Enyeanugie Primary School booked their final ticket by defeating Nana Primary School of Delta State 3-2.

Nana will face Christ The King in the third place match also today at 1.00pm. 

Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State and Emmanuel Uduaghan (Delta), Adams Oshiomhole (Edo), Mukhtar Yero (Kaduna) and Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom) are expected to grace the event.

Top officials of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Nigeria Schools Sports Federation are also expected at the final.
