Fired by the financial boost of $30,000 par goal dangled by Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, to the U- 23 team ahead of today’s Rio 2016 Olympics Games qualifier against Congo, head Coach, Samson Siasia, has promised Nigerians that his team would do everything possible to cage the visitors.

Siasia named a crack team yesterday for the encounter billed for the Adokiye Amiesieamaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, this afternoon, with star players like goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel, Oghenekaro Etebor, Taiwo Awoniyi, Azubuike Okechukwu, Erhun Obanor, Godwin Saviour, Umar Aminu and Musa Yahaya making the list.

Speaking with The Guardian shortly after naming his squad yesterday, Siasia said those he picked for the game have what it takes to tame the boastful Congolese.

Siasia, who spoke through the Media Officer of the U-23 team, Timi Ebikagboro, assured that apart from securing the needed victory against Congo, his team would go the extra mile in making sure they score three goals or more so as to pocket the $100,000 offered by Governor Wike.

In his bit to motivate the team, Governor Wike had dangled cash incentive for them to beat the Congolese.
