Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRRF), has said it would do everything to increase the awareness of the sport in 2016, even as it urged the Federal government and cooperate bodies to assist in funding the game

The stakeholders of rugby who gathered at the Media Centre of the National Stadium, Lagos, to evaluate the 2015 scorecard, noted that the federation was on course in revamping the rugby league.

They are seeking more financial assistance to help the national rugby team (The Stallions).

The Annual General Assembly chaired by the NRFF President, Sir Edward Fom Pam, was attended by members of the NRFF executive board and club representatives from all the regions.

Also present was sponsor of Rugby in the country, Kelechi Mbagwu, who is the MD/CEO of CMB Building Maintenance and Investment Company Limited.
