The Surveyor General of the Federation, Ebisintei E. Awudu has rewarded contingents that won laurels for the organisation at the 2018 Federation Public Service Games Association, (FEPSGA) with various prizes.
 
Speaking during a reception held for the team, which won seven medals, including one gold, five silver, and one bronze medal, Awudu described the performance as sign of good things to come.
 
He explained that sports was meant to keep workers alert, strong, and fit for office duty, adding that with the performance at the fiesta, he would grow the Sport Club to the next level.
 
The Surveyor General also promised to look into the issue of kits and urged the team to venture into indoor games, adding, “We want good representation in all sports.”
 
He revealed that plan was on to build sports facilities for workers on 10 acres of land, while thanking the athletes for winning seven medals for the office.
 
Earlier, the Sports Manager, Fakrogha Ben had said that they won the laurels in swimming, adding that they were ready to put in more excellent performances in the next games.
 
He thanked the office of the Surveyor General of Federation for registering the workers to participate in the games, and also helping to discover hidden talents in the department.
