Wow! Thank God for men that encourages any kind of sports at the grass-root. As the writer pointed out:

“But playing skills are not the only thing we want to cultivate in these young ones; we want to imbue in them life skills. This is part of our philosophy and what we tell new members at the OAU club. Even if you don’t grow to become a nationally-ranked player, the benefits of playing the game are so many. You can gain health, physical and mental toughness; a positive channel for your energies; lifelong friendships, and the opportunity to meet and be mentored by quality people in matters such as career and business”

We need to encourage and recognise those who use their “hard earned” money to sponsor those future stars, they do not know. A lot of sacrifice and humility goes into such personal passion. Long life Capt. Shina Akinfenwa! Kudos! And God’s profound blessings! No evil shall befall you and your family, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling!! Amen, Amen, Amen, FIRE.
