A glimpse of the KVA seventh anniversary/conference

Foundation in life is very important and must be taken into consideration no matter the size of a structure, personality, etc. We must understand that everything in life is tied to one’s foundation, whether it is individual, firm, church, or government. Looking at the happenings in the world brings to mind the kind of foundation that has been laid either in the life of an individual, churches, firms and the government.

What is Foundation?
The Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary (New 8th Edition) defines Foundation as a layer of bricks, concretes, etc. that forms the solid underground base of a building. II.). The principle, an idea or a fact that something is based on and that it grows from.

From the above definitions we are made to understand that everything in life has a base i.e. a beginning or a root. This beginning or root is what determines the structure of an individual, church, firms and the government. The beginning or root of everything on planet earth came from God Almighty, which can never be denied or done away with.

In THE beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth. (Gen 1:1 AMP)God in laying the foundation of the earth laid it on the platform of righteousness. And all He created was good in His sight (Genesis 1:2 – 31).Whatsoever foundation a man lays either structure or principles must be laid in the platform of righteousness. Hear what the Psalmist says; “Clouds and darkness are round about Him [as at Sinai]; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne (Psalm 97:2 AMP)”.

Also the Apostle Paul declared about the foundation of God; “But the firm foundation of (laid by) God stands, sure and unshaken, bearing this seal (inscription): The Lord knows those who are His, and, Let everyone who names [himself by] the name of the Lord give up all iniquity and stand aloof from it. (2 Timothy 2:19 AMP)”.

What kind of foundation have you laid or about to lay? It is very important to put in mind that the Lord God Almighty has given us a pattern on how to begin or build on the earth .i.e. it must be founded on righteousness. As the year 2018 was ending I had a burden to revisit our foundations to re-examine ourselves, so this brought us to the theme of our 2018 Conference tagged thus:

“If The Foundations Be Destroyed What Can The Righteous Do?” Psalm 11:3.The above theme was indeed a soul touching one that brought about revival to the brethren. It was a six days programme with afternoon and evening sessions. My father-in-the-Lord Prof. Athan Amasiatu who declared the conference open on the 20/11/18 evening, took on the message “If the Foundations be Destroyed?” Ministered that, foundation is the beginning of everything that a man does either consciously or unconsciously. As there are three cardinal points that are vital in foundation namely:

• Spiritual Foundation (founded by God)
Heb. 13:5, Gen. 1:1
• Physical Foundation – The Earth, the Heavens. Heb. 1:1 – 10, Gen. 1:1, 2 Peter 3:10
• Civil Foundation (System of the world), which has to do with human government. This is subdivided into three parts namely: The Home, Church, and Government. References: Col. 1:12-13, 2 Corinth. 4:4, 2 Timothy 2:16.He stated that sin, which is a major factor of man fallen short of God’s original plan in His foundation makes a man stink and smell (Eph. 2:2-6; 2 Samuel 14:25-26, Psalm 11:1-3). Furthermore, that brethren should endeavour to work in obedience to God and His Word, which is the key for any one to lay a good foundation.
