MTN Nigeria has rewarded winners of, ‘The Gathering on 100 Pitchanthon’ for emerging entrepreneurs in Aba, Abia State, with N5 million.

The firm rewarded the emerging entrepreneurs after they showcased and explained the impact of their products to society in the city at an event held at the Prime Time Event Centre, Osisioma Junction, Aba.

The N5 million prize was shared among the winners as N2.5 million to the first position, N1.5 million to the second position and N1 million to the third position.

Trashverse Recycling Technology Limited won the first prize, U.D Trend Global Limited won the second position prize, while Yadah Food Limited won the third prize.

Onyebuchi Ukwuegbo from MTN congratulated the winners and urged them to keep pushing higher and ensuring they lift others.

She also expressed gratitude to the audience for honouring the invitation, in spite of their busy schedule.

Speaking after the announcement of the winners, Chief Executive Officer of Trashverse Recycling Technology Limited, Mr. Charles Ikechukwu, thanked the organisers and described the prize as a great one.

He said the prize money would enable his company to make more impact in society, urging the youth to keep looking for solutions that will solve societal problems.
