We must recognise that the spirit of Antichrist is manifest in different forms and have a lot of other spirits and names, which influence people. There is the spirit of whoredom, which is the spirit of immorality, indecency, defilement and covetousness of other people’s husband or wife. There is the spirit of slumber. People possessed with this spirit are dull in their spirit, heart and conscience. When they read or hear the Word of God, It does not produce faith and righteousness.

They have no understanding of the Scriptures because their ears are dull of hearing.

There is also the spirit of divination. Some people operate with the spirit of divination like Balaam the soothsayer. Though the spirit might have been saying what was apparently right, it is not the gift of the Spirit of God. It is the old spirit that has not been cast out. Some people also have seducing spirits. Backsliders often go to places where so-called preachers are controlled by seducing spirits and their doctrines are inspired by the devil. We must discern and disallow by silencing such spirits; disregard, deny and dissociate from them, disclaim them and disappoint the people who have such spirits.

Damnation awaits those who fail to renounce all involvement with the Antichrist’s spirit. The Apostle, by revelation, informs us of the presence of the spirit of Antichrist in many who are activated, moved and propelled by it. “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world”. People who use hypnotism, mind psychology and esoteric methods are not of God. They are satanic agents that we must renounce. The Bible clearly condemns spiritism. Saul, the first king in Israel, “died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it …therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse”. People who consult familiar spirits, necromancers and the spirit of divination from Satan, antichrist or evil spirit will end up in hell.

Seeking power, revelation and vision from the wrong source will cause backsliding, apostasy and eternal damnation. Persistent sickness should not make us seek miracles from an evil source. As believers, we have the Spirit and power of God, which will work mightily in our lives. Thus, we do not need false miracles.

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world”. As anointed saints, Christ dwells in us. Therefore, we have greater power than false prophets of Satan who work miracles. There was no priest with the Ark of God, when it was captured and put in the house of Dagon, yet God worked wonders and “Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold”.

With the indwelling presence of Christ and the Holy Ghost in you, you have the power and faith that cannot fail. The greater One in you will destroy every work of the devil in your life. As the shadow of Peter brought healing to the sick and the dead bones of Elisha raised the dead, we have the Spirit, power and authority that can make great things happen through us.
