FEDERAL Government has approved the upgrade of four Federal Colleges of Education to the status of universities.
FEDERAL Government has approved the upgrade of four Federal Colleges of Education to the status of universities.
According to the Minister of Education, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, the four colleges shall now be known as: Adeyemi Federal University, Ondo (Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo), Federal University of Education, Kano (Federal College of Education, Kano), Federal University of Education, Zaria (Federal College of Education, Zaria) and Alvan Ikoku University of Education, Owerri (Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri).
