The 11th yearly crusade of the Diocese of Lagos West, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) tagged: 2023 Triumphant Convocation with the theme, “The Lord Will Fight For You” taken from Exod. 14:14, held recently at the Diocesan Field, Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral, GRA, lkeja, Lagos.

Hosted by the Diocesan Bishop, The Rt. Rev’d James Olusola Odedeji, the crusade incorporated a vigil.

Reading Exodus 14:1-14, Ven. Biodun Adenariwo extolled God and gave the over 1,000 participants the prophetic assurance of God’s willingness and ability to fight for His children as He did for the Israelites.

Ministering on the topic: “Winning The Battles Of Life,” Ven. Bolatito Dokunmu noted that Christians can engage weapons including the words of God, the name of Jesus and the Blood of Jesus, among others to win the battles of life.

He opened the eyes of participants to their heritage and entitlement in God, adding that the three factors responsible for the battles of life are glory, destiny and star, which he said remained the targets of the enemy.

He said: “We win the battles of life by individually giving our lives to Christ, so, we can receive the power to become a son or a daughter and be filled with the Holy Spirit”
