God’s faithfulness

Our reason for celebrating is manifold, because God is answering our prayers. Cases that defy modern, orthodox and spiritism, God has been granting them healing here. Also, the faithful have been recording life transformation through our scriptural teachings. Our counseling on Tuesday was crystal clear to many on how deliberate and subtle our household enemies could be. Testimonies abound in our midst as excepted.

There are these live-in lovers, known to people as a couple. The man, who hails from state of the salt of the nation in Nigeria, never scaled through the hurdles of basic customary marital rites. But over time, they have four children. The woman from the Eastern part of Nigeria was recently deceived by the man to travel to her root with the children. He promised joining her to perform the marital rites, and the woman consented.

A few days after the woman travelled, however, the man brought in a younger woman and hurriedly wedded her, an action their co-tenants frowned at, They contacted the first wife on phone, and she hurried back to Lagos with their four children. There was a squabble, and few days after, when his wife and four children were not at home, the man and his new wife absconded from home. They carted away some choice property, leaving the woman and her four children to fate.

It was in the course of her wandering that she located our church on a night of militant prayers, where an in-depth prophecy dug out some mysteries of her life. For instance, her live-in lover deceived her into entering into a covenant before their children were born. On one fateful day, and on agreement with the woman, he brought out a mirror, a kolanut and a blade. He cut himself to spill a little blood on the mirror and did the same the woman. I guess some words would have said.

The man later mixed the “blood” and poured on the kolanut, which were sliced into equal parts. While the woman chewed the concoction in good faith, the man cleverly bit and chewed the side of his kolanut, not put into the concoction, and disposed the real act afterward. He thereby freed himself from the claws of the so-called covenant. So, while the woman kept allegiance to the covenant, the man was contempt of it.

Since the man’s disappearance, the punitive fear of the covenant has held the woman captive, making her to live each new day in torments and her four children into wailing. Even her state of mind has made her to turn down other men with genuine intentions, but she regained her realm at this night of dominion.

Brother Monday Okafor, a chronic member of the cry-no-more family within the metropolis, had his municipal bus hit from behind by a heavy duty lorry carrying red earth. The force made the bus unsteady, and in the stampede to escape, many passengers sustained deep injuries. Our brother Okafor only lost a pair of sandals and felt minor aches.

Fair complexioned and slender Sister Aziba Rachael observed that a lump was growing in one of her breasts. Feeling uncomfortable, she went for medical help, where some tests were undertaken, after which the doctor advised an early surgery to prevent her from developing a terminal illness. Scared about this, and still debating the next step to take, a visiting prophet to our church compounded her woes; by saying he saw her being wheeled into the theatre and later trolleyed to the mortuary. By then, her fears were going into the peak of submitting to fate, when she ran to Papa, who countered her fears, before encouraging her to go for the surgery. This she did, and today, she is very happy she encountered Papa.
