The International Coordinator, Pastors Ministers Prayer Network (PMPN) Africa, Victor Uchegbulam, has urged church leaders to raise believers that would apply biblical dynamics to move the nation forward.

He said righteous prayer would avail in any situation or circumstances a nation finds itself.

The cleric who spoke at the 20th yearly ceremony of All Nation Congress tagged: ‘Possessing the Seven Mountains of the Nations’ (series five) noted that when believers are good examples, the nation would be a better place for all.

He said: “In considering what the role of the Church should be in the face of many nagging and endless challenges in developing nations of the 21st century, such as poverty, wars, idolatry, disease, famine, corruption, debts, we must acknowledge one major limitation, which is church leadership’s inability to raise believers who could apply biblical dynamics to leadership.

“This has continued to make the church look weak and irrelevant in the face of overwhelming societal challenges. It is against this backdrop that the Lord has challenged us to rise and pray for the deliverance and salvation of souls.”

Also speaking, the congress chairman, Pastor Dayo Akintunde, said the event was necessary to urge churches across the world to be united in purpose to establish the kingdom of God on earth.

“Hitherto, the church has been focusing on religion, while neglecting other aspects of life, such as business, education, entertainment, family, government and media, which made up the seven mountains. But these are also very important for the wellbeing of every believer,” he said.
