Living your life with consciousness of heaven

1st Corinthians 15:19, “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.”

As Christians running heavenly race, we should be seeing ourselves beyond this earthly kingdom, because we can leave this world any time. So, going by that mindset, all genuine born-again Christians are not citizens of this earth, but of heaven. Our hope in Christ is in heaven. In the lead scripture, the Bible is making us to understand that if our hope in Christ is not beyond this earth, then we are miserable people. But by the grace of God, our hope is heaven at last. In all circumstances, our life should project Christ. We should exhibit standard behaviour that will provoke unbelievers around us to seek to know Jesus Christ, to accept Him as Lord and Saviour.

Matthew 19:28 says “And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel”. The fact that the believers are heavenly citizens by faith though still on earth, having followed our Lord Jesus Christ, they are going to be part of the regeneration that will take place, when the Son of man will sit on the throne to deliver judgment. The word regeneration is translated from the Greek word, palingenesia, meaning new birth, renewal, re-creation.

However, in the context it is used in the scripture above, it refers to the recreation of the social order and renewal of the earth. Again, the believers will be part of the jury judging the 12 tribes of Israel, as well as all other tribes of the world. Our Lord’s prediction discloses how the fulfilment of the promise in Isaiah1: 26 will be met, when the Kingdom is set up. The Kingdom administration over the Israelites and indeed the entire people of the world will be through the apostles, in accordance with the ancient theocratic judgeship.

By the grace of God, official roles have been assigned to believers in the heavenly kingdom. It is, therefore, expedient we make adequate preparation that will guarantee our taking up our duties in heaven. Our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back to rapture the saints. That is why the Bible says in John 14:1-3, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also”.

According to the scripture, our Lord Jesus Christ has gone to Heaven to prepare a place for believers. There are many mansions, but selected ones will be furnished to His taste to enable the believers, the church, and indeed His bride to occupy with Him, as the believers are billed to stay with our Lord Jesus Christ after the rapture must have taken place. In whatever we are doing, heaven should be the focal point with our faith on our Lord Jesus Christ. By looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, we keep on running the race to ensure success at the end of life on this planet earth.

It is written in Hebrews 11:13-16 saying, “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city”.

The world, we are living has nothing worthwhile to offer; hence the believers are seeking a better country where peace will take the centre stage, as there will be no corruption, no rigging of election, no power failure and no senseless killing of innocent people. The believers are seeking a better country, where there will be total restoration of theocratic system of government that was in place in Israel prior to the institution of monarchy. Every genuine born-again Christian while living in this present world should be faithfully seeing himself in heavenly city, where God is the Father, and believers, sons and daughters of the Kingdom. If you are living your life in consciousness of heaven, you should always live your life according to God’s Will. Believers are in miniature Kingdom of God on earth; their focus is in heaven and they live their lives in accordance with heavenly standard.

If you are yet to come to this level, probably you are still engrossed in the pursuit of earthly possessions, there is need for immediate change of mindset and you look unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. You should seek God first and be mindful of things of God. That is why the Bible says in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. The grace is still available for anyone to come to Christ with a view to making heaven. There is urgent call for repentance in preparation for the rapture, now that grace is still available.

Whatever sin you are into, repent; Christ is knocking at the door of the heart of every unbeliever, asking for the permission to enter. If you allow Him today, you will become a child of God and you will begin to live your life according to God’s Will. It is then you become conscious of heaven and faithfully believe that as the trumpet sounds, you will be among the saints that will make rapture and by implication heaven, in Jesus name.

…I said in my mind that I was going to kill the pussycat. We battled and I hit it on the wall. Suddenly, a voice said to me, “Don’t kill that cat. If you kill that cat, your name will never be clean in this life and they will not understand.”

So, I left the cat and it immediately changed to Ujunwa again. All this was happening around 4a.m., and I couldn’t sleep again. So, we started praying again till 5a.m. Usually, l don’t take her to the morning-cry, but because of what happened, l decided to do so. As I was preaching, she was sharing handbills, and after that, we went home.

When my husband woke up, I narrated the story to him, but he didn’t believe me. Rather, he said, I shouldn’t tell anybody.

He went to work with my phone, so I would not call anybody. But before he returned, l went to all his siblings and narrated the matter to them and they were all gathered in my house. They interrogated Ujunwa, and she narrated how she was initiated. She said she was the brown cat I was hitting on the wall, while the black one was Ukamaka who initiated her. She disclosed that Ukamaka came because she (Ujunwa) was no longer attending meetings. She came to see for herself if there was actually fire preventing Ujunwa from attending meetings. I asked her the meaning of the python she turned into? She said they told her to swallow me. I asked her if she had swallowed me, what would have happened? She said in the morning, they would just discover that I slept and didn’t wake up again; that that is how they operate. She said she didn’t want to follow me to Chosen again because anytime she went; they chained her, thereby preventing her from operating. She said she wanted to return to the Orthodox Church she came from. I asked her why Chiamaka my daughter could not stay with her in the same room. She replied that from the crown of her head to the soles of her feet, there is the blood of Jesus on her. My husband’s siblings discussed, and they agreed to take her home on a particular day. But before that day, she changed into a dog and bit my husband on his palm. He bit her in return. I called Ujunwa and asked her why she bit my husband on his palm.

She said so that all his money would be going to their kingdom. Eventually, she was taken to the village but upon interrogation, she denied everything. She told them that she was not a witch; that if she was a witch, that she got it from The Lord’s Chosen. My husband’s family never liked Chosen. My mother-in-law started saying bad things about Chosen and the whole family turned against me. They stopped coming to my house, as they labelled me a witch. But last week, something happened. Our intercessor leader called for a seven-day programme with fasting. We prayed for our General Pastor and the forthcoming programme. On Saturday night/Sunday morning, l had a dream where 15 people were fighting me. We fought each other and I defeated them all; it was only the youngest among them that was left. I asked her why she was after me. She said because I was the cause of her problems; that I exposed her and now, the world has seen her nakedness. I pitied her because blood was all over her. I took cotton wool to clean her up, and as I was about to do that, I woke up. On Sunday night after concluding the fast, our branch pastor prayed for us and we broke the fast. I got home and saw my husband shouting and telling me that Ujunwa is a witch. She was caught turning into snake in the village. I told him to explain, and he said it happened one fateful afternoon, when she went to sleep inside their house, only for her to change to a very big python. As her mother came in, they saw her lying down as a big python. They shouted Ujunwa and the python turned to Ujunwa again. They took her to a witch doctor and he did something and she turned to a python again. He told them to look at what they had been living with. She confessed what she told me in Lagos. They asked her when she was initiated and she said in 2008. They asked her when she went to Lagos and she said in 2014; that she was sent to kill me but she couldn’t operate because I am a Chosen. After that, they started calling to apologise to me. They said that I should forgive them and that God of The Chosen should also forgive them. They scheduled January 3, 2022 to judge the matter on how I called their daughter a witch, but this very God vindicated me.

I appreciate God for what He has done. May His name be glorified forever in Jesus name! I pray for our General Pastor and his family, all the Chosen Pastors, leaders, workers and members’ worldwide: heaven at last in Jesus name! Praise the Lord!
