Ministers clarify teachings on endtime at conference

Says Boko Haram Is A Sign Of The Endtime

General Overseer of The Christ Fire World Evangelism Ministries (CFWEM), Igbe, Ikorodu, Lagos, Dr. Israeli Owonibi has said that Boko Haram is a sign of the end time. He said that only Christ could bring peace. “Boko Haram is a sign of the end. God knows about them. It is one of the punishments of the end time.”

Speaking on the theme: “End Time and Revelation” during the 2018 Ministers Conference/Seminar of the Everest International Bible College (EIBC), Owonibi said: “I am a prophet of the end time. The Lord told me that until the men of God unite together before solution could be found to our problem. Just pray, Nigeria is divided already we are just managing it.”

According to him, anytime there is crisis Christians always move closer to God. “People will die, but Christians will move closer to God. The devil will use the end time to deal with them.”He enjoined Christians to stand firm during the end time, saying that Christ warned that people would cry.

The General Overseer advised President Muhammadu Buhari to warn his son, Yusuf, who recently returned to the country from a medical treatment abroad to be very careful not to run into another problem. He also said that if God preserves the life of the President, Buhari would win the 2019 presidential election.

He said: “President Buhari should be very careful. I am one of the people that prayed for him and he eventually replaced former Goodluck Jonathan. I also prophesised that Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo (rtd) would become the president. That time his wife was coming to me regularly. I said he would leave the prison and become the president. And the Lord told me that rotational presidency would be between the North and South for decades of years before Jesus Christ comes back.”

He said that although CFWEM is just eight years old it has other branches in Lagos. We have a well-established college in the USA, which is headed by President Peter Smith and Director of Studies, Timothy Cline and they are here for the programme.
 
“The ministers’ conference was our first time. Next year, we hope it would be more than this. We invited people here today to know about the end time because of the erroneous teachings going on about endtime and the book of Revelation.

“That is why we brought guest speakers to expatiate on end time and the book of Revelation. Next time we will bring another challenging issue. Let people forget about money and miracles and talk about the end time. Let us talk about the truth.”

The President of Two Witness Bible Ministries (TWM), Michigan, United States, Peter Smith, said that they started their journey in Africa from America to Ghana. “We spent a lot of time there visiting so many schools. We met with our host in Ghana and visited so many schools in Northern Ghana, and planted new schools. Then, we went to Ivory Coast, there, we have about eight campuses. We met the students as well as the leaders for a week. We also went to Liberia. We visited the Bible colleges in Liberia. Finally, we came to Nigeria.”

He recalled how Jesus Christ actually taught his disciples concerning His second coming and the Endtime.He added that their emphasis at the Bible School was to teach the graduands how to walk according to scripture patterns.The Director of TWM, Timothy Cline, was also part of the missionary group and he is a board member of Everest International Bible School since its inception.

“The world has a lot of confusions about the end time. The church does not know what the true message of end time is. We want to bring clarity to what God said about the end time. And how to interpret the book of Revelation. That the church is going to persevere until Jesus comes again. We have to persevere as Christians to overcome Satan and the devil. The book of Revelation is a book of perseverance,” Cline said.
