Singles are leaders

However, it is the agile, proactive, productive and positive leader that can release such influence. One cannot actually give what one does not have.

Leadership is all about influence. It is also the ability of someone to influence others to do what ordinarily, they couldn’t have done. Man is naturally lazy and prone to negativities of life, but the leader influences him towards productivity and positivity of thoughts, words and actions.

However, it is the agile, proactive, productive and positive leader that can release such influence. One cannot actually give what one does not have.

Today’s singles, who are predominantly youths, are going to be the married and adults of tomorrow. Therefore, the positive impact leaders make in their lives today will grow to become a great asset to the body of Christ and society at large, tomorrow. Similarly, the negative impacts in the lives of yesterday’s singles and youths are playing out in our churches and society today.

‘Singlehood’ and youthful periods are delicate periods of one’s life and should be handled with all seriousness. It’s a foundational period of one’s life, both of marriage and other areas of life and therefore, can make or mar one’s marital and other areas of life. This, therefore, behooves on our church leaders to ensure that positive influences are imparted into their lives to secure a sound church and society tomorrow.

For this reason, over the years, our commission which has a global youth arm (Interdenominational), started a ministry called, ‘Singles Special’, which organises an annual mega programme in Enugu, Nigeria, called, “Singles Mega Hit.”

It is a programme aimed at raising godly singles and youths of the last days, who will model excellent and enviable marriages and godly leadership in our society.

The singles and youths of our day are faced with forces of darkness, intending to derail their marriages and future in such areas as sexual immorality, spiritual husbands/wives, curses and evil covenants.

Over the years, thousands of singles have been blessed through the programme. Many have received salvation, teachings on how to go through courtship and ensure holy marriages and delivered from demonic immoral habits, cures and evil covenants that could have destroyed their marriages and lives generally.

Therefore, we encourage parents/guardians and pastors to send their children/wards and members to the programme on Friday, November 2, 2018 in order to prepare them for the future. It starts by 8pm prompt.
