Matthew 3:11 He shall baptize you with the holy ghost and with fire. Luke 3:16 But one mightier than i cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the holy ghost and with fire. Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 2: 3, 17, 18 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith god, i will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy. 1 Corinthians 14:39 ìWherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

In recent times, Bible Scholars through their research have discovered the tremendous power available to the believer in the New Covenant through the Ministry of the Holy Spirit. It was established that the act of speaking in tongues was not available in the Old Testament. Also, the act of casting out demons was not prevalent in the Old Testament. For everyone in the New Testament who believes in the Lord Jesus, are all entitled to speak in tongues and cast out Demons. Mark 16: 15-17 And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature; He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned; And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. the early Church believers including the Apostles were commanded to receive the enduement, empowerment and Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

They were never to go out on evangelism without this special experience of Holy Ghost empowerment and anointing. Acts 2: 1-4 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place; And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting; And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them; And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the spirit gave them utterance. The promise of God the Father is to pour His Holy Spirit upon all flesh, people of all races and culture with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2: 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. When we accept jesus as our Lord and saviour, jesus immediately stands to Baptise us with the Holy Ghost and with Fire.

JESUS is the Baptiser with the Holy Ghost and Fire. One of the initial evidence of Baptism in the Holy Ghost is the powerful acts of speaking in tongues ñ actually speaking in the language of the Holy Spirit. When we are baptised in the Holy Spirit, we start speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives us utterances. This Supernatural evidence of speaking in tongues empowers the believer to have a prayer language through which perfect communication is channeled directly to God. 1 Corinthians 14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto god: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. Speaking in tongues is a higher Supernatural level of communication with God. There is a realm where communication is channeled flawlessly unto God. Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings, which cannot be uttered.
