That prison must open – Part 1
God never created you to be subjected to any form of hardship, and even when that was inherited by our fore-parents, He sent our Lord Jesus Christ to redeem us and reposition us on the course of freedom. And if Jesus makes us free, no doubt we are free.
Jn 8: 36 expressly says, “If the Son, therefore, shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
The issuing of grant for total freedom is the prerogative of the Sovereign Lord. So, it is only Christ that has the right and power to liberate mankind from their slavery, whether it is social, economic, material, physical or spiritual bondage.
We all should know that the captivity of men by the devil and his demons started after the fall of man in the Garden of Eden because of sin. Being in prison, Man was subsequently dominated by sin, which became the cause of all his problems, which separated him from his Creator. Mankind remained under the condition of the bondage of Satan until Christ manifested to destroy the devil’s works.
The destruction of the devil’s works and liberation from the dominion of sin and power of Satan gave mankind liberty. Christ is the only One with the right and power to liberate men from their bondage and dominion of sin. And His appearing did not only give us the most valuable freedom from the chains and oppressions of earthly masters and monarchs, but from the bondage of sin.
Gal. 3: 13 says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.”
When mankind could by no means be freed from sin and death, God by His benevolence sent His one and only Son to be a sacrifice for sin, that our liberty might be fully accomplished. He is made a curse for us, died for us instead and thus set us free from the curse of the law. All that is needed to free mankind from all shackles of life was thereby accomplished. Man is, therefore, a free man through Jesus Christ. And anything opposing the redeemed work of God in your life shall bow to Him today.
The grave will open today, the prison will open today, it is never God’s Will that any man should suffer. Christ has redeemed you and me that we should all be free. Thus, you should not remain in sorrow or that trouble anymore. Today, by the words of authority, you shall be released from all kinds of prison.
Everyone should remember our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ came into this world to open the prison to those that are bound there by the devil.
Luke 4:17-18 says of Him, “And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.”
The Spirit of God upon our Lord Jesus Christ has empowered Him to bring deliverance to mankind, particularly those who are deeply afflicted, those whose hearts are broken by external calamities or a sense of their sinfulness, and those who are not only cast into prison, but, like Zedekiah, had their eyes put out, and were laden and bruised with chains of iron.
So, if today you have problems, injury, sorrows, and poverty or afflicted by the enemies, you shall be set free for the reason that Christ has paid the price by suffering for you. That prison, which the enemy has subjected you to must open today. That prison of separation from God must end today, that prison of poverty, lack of favour and promotion must end today. That oppression must cease today; including affliction, childlessness, husband or wife must become history. If people hate you, from today, they will begin to love you. If you believe it, say amen.
John 12: 38 says, “That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? And to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
The arm of the Lord is the gospel, which is God’s power for salvation to all that believe. And the arm of the Lord is only revealed to those whose hearts are open to understanding God’s capacity to do all things. If you believe, no matter how deep your prison may be, how long you have been in that prison or who is behind your predicament, my assurance is that today that prison must open.
The Wonderful Work Of God
Dead Child Raised At The Crusade Ground
MY name is Sister Priscilla. I am from Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State. I got married to my husband from the same community about 13 years ago. I want to testify how God showed mercy to me and raised my dead child to life during the Port Harcourt crusade.
Before I joined The Lord’s Chosen Ministry, I was just a nominal Christian, who cannot claim to have belonged to any particular denomination. Although I attended many Churches and had heard sermons about what Jesus did during His earthly ministry, as contained in the Scripture, I never knew I would be a beneficiary of His wonderful work. My take-away all this while was that Christ had distanced Himself from Churches because of the pervading iniquities prevailing amongst them today.
When I gave birth to this baby, it was a safe and normal delivery, and I was discharged from the hospital the same day. But less than a week later, something happened. Before then, there was a prophecy that the baby would not live up to three days after delivery. But I didn’t attach any importance to the prophecy, mainly because I had a normal delivery. But suddenly, the baby fell seriously ill and was crying profusely. So, I decided to take him to the hospital, where the doctor said he had a severe cold. He treated him and also gave me some medicine for him. Right there, I administered the medicine to him, but instead, his condition was getting critical. I called the attention of the doctors and nurses to this. When they examined him again, they advised I should take him to the Teaching hospital.
At this juncture, I was perplexed and begged the doctors to do something urgently. They, however, insisted there was nothing they could do again than to ask me to try a referral hospital. Immediately, I discovered there was nothing they could do to assist the child, I hurriedly took my baby to the teaching hospital. On the way, I noticed he had become quiet, but I thought he was sleeping. On second thought, I examined him and to my dismay, I realised there was no life in him, that my baby had died. It was then I remembered there was a prophecy to that effect.
Meanwhile, as I was crying and thinking of what to do, some women gathered around me and were consoling me. Some suggested I should go home, while others advised I took him to a church since there was a prophecy against her life. As I was contemplating, which church to go, somebody in their midst informed me of a crusade of The Lord’s Chosen that was taking place at Elekahia Stadium.
Without wasting time, I told the taxi driver to take me there. That was how I took his dead body to the crusade ground.
On arrival at the crusade ground, the first thing I did was to call my husband and told him that I would be coming home with his baby, but I did not tell him whether he was dead or alive. He asked whether the child was dead and I answered no, but quickly told him that when I get home he would know. He asked what the noise in the background was about. I told him we were at a crusade and that I would explain everything to him after returning home. Thereafter, I put off the phone, as I was not ready to be probed further on my decision to take the child to the crusade.
At that time, the crusade was coming to an end and the Pastor had started praying for different cases. Confused about what to do, I took his body closer to the pulpit and upon observing that people were busy praying, I quietly dropped the lifeless body there and walked back a distance. And when the security people were looking for the mother, I refused to show up. I was just watching from a distance what they would do with it. I saw them moved the baby’s body closer to the pulpit.
At this point, I managed to draw nearer to a vantage position, where I could have a good view of the body.
Meanwhile, I was praying and calling on God of Chosen to intervene in my life. I also kept watching. And lo and behold, I noticed the baby was making some movement. So, I quickly rushed forward, picked him up and started breastfeeding him to the surprise of onlookers. When I told them what God did, the venue erupted in joy and praises.
That was how the God of Chosen raised my son from death. Jesus has done for me what He did in the Bible days. This God is, indeed, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I was not a Chosen before, but from now, I am a chosen and will continue to worship this God till I die. I didn’t know God could answer prayer this quick. This God is Baba. I will tell my people I have found the real God.
