Proverbs 20:7 “The just man walketh in his INTEGRITY: his children ARE BLESSED AFTER HIM”. Proverbs 11:3 “The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them”.

At the end of the day, integrity is one thing that will preserve you in the affairs of this life. In today’s corporate world, integrity is a selling point for patronage and lasting relationships. There is vacancy everywhere for anyone that will exhibit honesty, competence, discipline, industry and integrity.

INTEGRITY is a state of being truthful, honest, faithful, accountable and consistent in matters that are right with public display of SOUND character at any time. A man or woman of integrity keeps his/her words and does not display inconsistency or deviation from the path of truth and justice. He/she cannot be induced or swayed by gratifications and will never pervert or prevent justice. A man of integrity’s “YES” is “Yes” and his “NO” is “No”.

INTEGRITY: WHAT DOES IT MEAN? : Doing the right thing where you are, whether you are being watched or not; being truthful to yourself; you are accountable and responsible; standing on your words. If you are a woman or man of integrity, you will always be honest, accountable, faithful, trustworthy, reliable and responsible.

Psalm 15 “LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that WALKETH UPRIGHTLY, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. HE THAT BACKBITETH NOT WITH HIS TONGUE, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, NOR TAKETH UP A REPROACH AGAINST HIS NEIGHBOUR. In whose eyes a vile person is condemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. He that PUTTETH NOT OUT HIS MONEY TO USURY, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall NEVER BE MOVED”. From the Passage of Psalm 15, we can see that there are about four forms of integrity.

1. PERSONAL INTEGRITY – (Walketh uprightly): Worketh righteousness; Does things right; Speaks the truth from his heart; Not a gossip; Not a talebearer. 2. SOCIAL INTEGRITY (Does not backbite his neighbour): Does not take a reproach against his neighbour. He does not backbite with his tongue; Not doing evil against his neighbour; Not a wicked neighbour; Not a troublemaker.

Not a slanderer; Does not approve of wrong doings, will never support evil or unbecoming behaviours. 3. SPIRITUAL INTEGRITY (He honours the LORD at all times): Honours those who fear the LORD; He is faithful to relationships, keeps to time and does not waste other people’s time; He honours Godly relationships. 4. FINANCIAL INTEGRITY (Does not engage in economic exploitation or financial oppression): Does not take bribe/ or inducement against the innocent; No exploitation, He keeps promises. Sweareth and does not change; No financial oppression. He pays his vows, his word is his bond; He fulfils his commitments to God and man.

The Scripture assures that “a man or woman of integrity shall never be moved or devastated. Choose to be a leader, who leads with integrity and honesty. You will be preserved.

Prayer: Father God, I thank You for making me a man of integrity in CHRIST JESUS. JESUS is my reputation, as I am the righteousness of God in CHRIST JESUS. I trust God that I will live in a manner that is worthy of the saints.
