The Word Of God Is Dependable

GOD will not do anything without His Word. The Bible says: “He (God) sent forth His word and healed them; and saved them from their distress”-Psalm 107:20. Another portion of the Bible, however, expressly says everybody that embraces God’s Word will find fulfilment. “The unfolding of your words give light; it gives understanding to the simple”-Psalm 119:130. You will no longer read God’s word in vain. Every word of God you come across will not go in vain, but shall go right in to your situation and do what you desire in Jesus mighty name.

  It is quite possible for some people around you to ‘succeed’ without obeying God’s word. However, it is temporary success. It cannot be compared to what you get, when you live in obedience to the word of God for lifting, promotion, riches, favour or fruit of the womb. God is able to give you all the good things of life. It is a matter of time.   

  I know this message is for somebody, who has waited on God long enough to experience divine breakthrough but it seems nothing is going to happen in the long run. The Word of God is coming to you at the right time. Don’t give up at all. Your days of waiting, fasting and prayer on that particular issue will soon be over. God is coming to give you your heart desire. You will sing a new song in the New Year. Conquer that negative thoughts encouraging you to take steps contrary to the ways of God. It is possible you get quick solution outside your Creator’s intended solution. But remember it always ends in calamity due to the heavy and unimaginable price attached to it.

  God’s solution may seem to take longer process from human perception, yet it is the best. It is worth waiting for. The wisest man in the world once said: “The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and He (God) adds no trouble to it”-Proverbs 10:22. What exactly is your need that you think God cannot adequately meet? If it is wealth and riches, He can offer you durable affluence crown with long life.

  Be informed that whatever you by-pass God to get from man or devil will attract problem in the end. It may not be immediate, but surely it will have a bad ending. This has to do with the kind of price attached to getting any help from the world, which denies Jesus Christ. The word of God clearly warns us to wait on God for everything. 

  The Bible says, “but those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint”-Isaiah 40:31. Waiting on the LORD is the patient expectation that God will fulfill His promises in His Word and strengthen us to rise above life’s difficulty. It means to completely trust Him.

  As many that sought God in times of need and waited patiently on Him had testimonies. Indeed, they enjoyed God’s favour. One day, king David was in a serious trouble, yet he called on God for the solution. God answered him. I Samuel 30:2-8.

  There are others like Hannah; she waited on the Lord for a miracle child (I Samuel 1: 1-20. Jabesh did not give up waiting on God through prayer to have a divine turnaround regarding his destiny (I Chronicles 4:9 and 10) King Hezekiah and King Jehoshaphat ran to God, when faced with an impending trouble beyond their control.

  What exactly is your need? God can meet all your needs. Go to Him in prayer. Seek His face with sincerity in fasting. Find His will in the Scriptures and He will answer you.
