Isaiah 45:2-3: “I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: 3: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.”
Many people have the erroneous impression that any problem they encounter will lasts through their lifetime. This is rather unfortunate. It should be noted that the devil afflicts the children of God with one problem or the other, even thought he does not have the capacity to sustain any project for a long time.
The devil believes in hit and run strategy because he lacks the power to keep projects for long. We should always bear in mind that our Lord Jesus Christ came to the world to destroy the works of the devil and that of his agents. When one embraces our Lord Jesus Christ, anything the devil does in the person’s life would be temporal; because the Lord will destroy all the evil works. That is why the great Prophet Isaiah in his book, quoted in the lead scripture, assures us that God will go before us to clear every hurdle that is likely to hinder our progress in life. The Lord will not only clear the way for us, but will also give us the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places. The devil enjoys afflicting the children of God with one sickness or the other. He will attack their businesses and cause confusion between brethren; all these will not last long because as soon as Christ comes into the scene the devil will pack his problems and leave immediately.
It is, therefore, advisable to look unto the Lord, depend yourself on Him in all your endeavours. He is capable of providing all your needs and your time of sorrow and worry will be a thing of the past. In Isaiah 60:20-23: “Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. 21: Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. 22: A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.”
Our Lord will not only fight for you, He will equally strengthen you to resist the devil and overcome your problems. When the devil is resisted and checkmated in your life, you will be free to take what God has naturally prepared for you. The devil thrives on conflicts and enjoys putting people into problems; that is why we should not leave ourselves empty. The best strategy of resisting the devil is by embracing our Lord Jesus Christ at all times. In order to ensure you have Christ in your life you must earnestly seek the kingdom of God by repenting from all known and unknown sins and accepting Him as Lord and Saviour. When Christ comes into your heart you will be led by God’s Spirit. That is why Matthew 6:33 says: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” When you seek the Lord and find Him, the spirit of God will dwell in you to serve the Lord with all your heart. Then the benefits of serving the Lord will be made manifest in your life. When you are in the Lord your problems will be over because God will take over your affairs. The devil, who has earlier on afflicted you, will no longer have power over you. The devil attacks with sickness, poverty, barrenness, failure at the edge of breakthrough and all kinds of disappointments will cease. Our Lord Jesus Christ manifested that He may destroy all the works of the devil. While in the Lord all these problems will no longer be your portion.
John 16:33 says: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” The term, ‘world’ is a representation of the counter culture of the Kingdom of Heaven. All that the world stands for, are against the demands of the kingdom of God; fortunately, our Lord Jesus Christ said He has overcome the world, therefore, while we have peace in Christ, the world offers tribulations.
The people who seek and find the Kingdom of God are in Christ and will have peace. The tribulations, which the world offers are not for the children of God. That is why the Bible says that the children of God are not of the world, the fact that they are in the world notwithstanding. It sounds Greek to hear a child of God say he has not fallen sick for the past five years or more, or another child of God l testifying how armed robbers carrying AK-47 rifle confronted him or her, but declaring that he is a Chosen three times and the thief ran away. In some cases, a child of God with bare hands has collected a hoodlum’s gun.
There are cases of a member of the Lord’s Chosen living in a compound with other tenants of different denominations, armed robbers will break into the compound, attack and steal from all other occupants of the building, but would spare the members of the Lord’s Chosen. There is a recent testimony of a woman, who was at the Lord’s Chosen headquarters alongside her husband for organised prayers, while their children have all gone to school. While they were away, their compound having other flats went up in flames. All the flats were burnt down, but theirs remained untouched. There were four water tanks at the back of the house; three were burnt leaving only their water tank.
These are examples of being in the world, but not of the world. The tribulations characterising the world do not affect you even when you are amid them because of the peace, protection, love and security, the Lord offers to the people in the kingdom of God, the believers in Christ. In the Lord, your problems are taken care of by the Lord, Himself. Apostle Paul writing to the church in 2Corinthians 3:16-17 said: “Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17: Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. At this time, the veil that covers you from seeing the light must be taken away and all the Lord has prepared for you will be made manifest in your life. The Lord is interested in your life and will always allow peace to prevail in your life if you put all your trust in Him and serve Him with all your heart. Your blessings will come and all your problems will be over in Jesus’ name.
Testimony Of The Lord’s Doing
Healed Of 15-Year Ulcer, Delivered From Untimely Death (2)
My name is Sister Rose Eboka and I live and worship in Benin City, Edo State. I thank God for making my family and I, members of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries. I have come to thank God for healing me of ulcer at 15 years. Before the healing came, I cried to God for it and God, in my dream showed me what to do to be healed. He instructed me to soak anointed handkerchief in water and drink it for 21 one days. I did that and the ulcer disappeared. Praise the Lord!
Moreover, God saved me from untimely death. I was going for cross over night with my son in 2022, suddenly a vehicle came out from nowhere and almost crushed us, but God intervened and saved us. Praise the Lord!
Furthermore, I had a dream, where I saw somebody that was shot with arrow, though I did not know the person, but when I got up, I prayed against that. The following day, I went to my business, that day, I had some goods they needed to off-load for me. Immediately, they finished off-loading the goods, I was about to start selling them, but decided to say some prayers before doing so. In the process of praying, I was shot an arrow. At last, I saw myself in the hospital where I spent more than two months. Brethren were coming there to pray for me, but I did not know those that were coming to pray or see me in the hospital.
Eventually, I heard the voice of our General Pastor in my dream and suddenly, I discovered I was locked up at the bottom of the sea. Through the instruction of the General Pastor, three attendants carried me out of the place. What followed physically was the removal of the oxygen that was fixed on me. At this juncture, my skin had begun to peel and I was taken to a bed, because all this while I was sitting on a chair. Suddenly, three angels appeared with my file they were marking. Later, they said I had no case to answer and discharged me from death sentence. The enemies’ manipulations in the kingdom of darkness were frustrated.
Eventually, I was discharged from the hospital and when I got home, General Pastor visited me in my dream and said I should come to Lagos and see him. After several hurdles I came to Lagos and my State Pastor helped me to see the General Pastor and he prayed for me. That marked the end of all the troubles and death sentence in my life. May the name of the Lord be glorified!
During that ordeal, I promised to give God, in my State N50,000 and in the headquarter (Lagos) N100,000 and I am here with the money. Praise the Lord! God of Chosen is great. I pray for the General Pastor and all the Chosen members worldwide, heaven at last in Jesus’ name.
