In its bid to improve the welfare of its workforce, the Lagos State government has provided four new staff buses and a mini office, with rest rooms to the officials of the Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC).

The Head of Service, Lagos State Civil Service, Mrs. Olabowale Ademola, who represented Governor Akinwunmi Ambode at an occasion to mark the Quarterly Birthday Celebration of staff of the Corporation and the official commissioning of the vehicles and office at LSPWC Office complex, Ojodu, remarked that the Governor appreciated the effort of the staffs of the Corporation.

Ademola, while urging the workers to reciprocate the governor’s gesture by re-dedicating themselves to their duties, stated that despite the current harsh economic situation in the country, government has ensured prompt payment of salaries, remittance of pension deductions, as well as payment of 25 per cent end of year bonuses across board.
