Romans 6:1-4: “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2: God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptised into Jesus Christ were baptised into his death? 4: Therefore, we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so, we also should walk in newness of life.”

The sacrificial death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary for the sins of mankind will be a waste in any man or woman who fails to key into the gesture or accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. The race for eternal life continues as long as the earthly journey lasts and anyone that fails to use the opportunity to repent has lost it forever. The work of salvation is designed for the benefit of everyone, which is the reason Jesus Christ came and died. Repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ are now that you are still alive and can take decisions.

In the lead scripture, the Bible queries if it is appropriate for us to wait because grace abound? The answer is no! So, no man should hesitate to give his life to Jesus Christ.

We are all to identify with Christ in His evangelical life on earth, His baptism, death and resurrection through which we get a new life both on earth and in heaven. This new life in Christ entails taking His nature of love for one another and loving God with all our hearts. We should also be sinless just like Jesus Christ Himself. It is by embracing Him in all ramifications that His death on the Cross of Calvary becomes relevant in our life.

In 2 Corinthians 6:1-3, the Bible says: “We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2: For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 3: Giving no offence in anything, that the ministry is not blamed.”

The grace of God is sufficient for everyone to be saved. This grace will continue to be available and accessible as long as one lives on earth. Earth is a preparatory ground for eternal life in heaven. Whosoever fails to seize the opportunity the grace offers will miss it forever.

Hebrews 9:27-28 says: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. 28: So, Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Everyone on this earth will one day die physically and then face the judgment of God. It should be noted that physical death is a consequence of sin (Gen. 3:19); the result of Adam’s sin that lead to the fall of man. The universality of death is proof that all men are guilty of sin (Romans 5:12-14).

It is pertinent to note that physical death affects only the body, as it is not the cessation of conscious existence (Habakkuk2: 5). All physical death ends in the resurrection of the body. For the fact that physical death is a consequence of sin, it is not inevitable to the redeemed. Physical death has for the Christians, a peculiar qualification. It is called “sleep” because the body may be awakened at any moment (Philippians 3:20). The soul and the spirit live independently of the body, which is described as a tabernacle or tent in which the “I” dwells and which may be put off (2 Cor. 5:1-8).

When a Christian dies, his/her soul will at once be with the Lord, while his/her body awaits resurrection at the return of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:1-8). The body of the Christian will rise to meet our Lord Jesus Christ at His second coming. The body of the sinful will remain in everlasting conscious suffering till the resurrection, which will come 1000 years after the saints have risen to join Jesus Christ. It is after this that the sinful man will face the white throne of judgment and eventually be thrown into the lake of fire where suffering will continue eternally.

The only escape route to this everlasting suffering in the lake of fire is repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. The opportunity is available now that you are still alive and has the ability to make decisions. Our Lord Jesus Christ holds the key to eternal life hence John 14:6 says: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Our Lord Jesus Christ is knocking at the door of the heart of every unbeliever; asking for permission to enter and save their souls. Avail yourself of the mercy of God now the rapture has not taken place. He will accept and cleanse you of your sins. He will also plead with the Father to forgive you of your sins. If you fail to meet Him now, you will eventually meet Him after the rapture as a judge. At this time, there will be no mercy, as mercy and grace would have been taken away.

The people of the world are engrossed, pursuing wealth and not bothered with the things of God. The Bible queries this in Mark 8:36-37: “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37: Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul”?

Earthly wealth is temporal and will perish at any time even while the beholder is still alive, but spiritual things will remain forever. It is, therefore, expedient to invest in spiritual things, which are repentance and acceptance of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the only name under the heavens that man can be saved. Repent and accept Him now and you will enjoy eternal life in heaven at the end of your life.

How God Rolled Yoke Of 13 Years And Barrenness Away

Matt. 19: 26 says: “And Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

BRETHREN, the above statement came to pass in my life when God visited me and made possible, what seemed impossible to men.

My name is Sister Chioma Asiegbu. I thank God for giving me victory over the yoke of barrenness. For over 13 years l got married, I expected to be pregnant, but it did not happen. This was a result of the demonic operation in my life. But the God of Chosen gave the evil power a technical knockout.

Sometime in 2016, my husband said I should go to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for a medical check up. That was our first move since our wedding. In 2017, I repeated the visit and was told I have an injury in my fallopian tube and was booked for surgery. My husband said I cannot go for the surgery without telling the G.O, so, I sent a text message to him.

The following Sunday, I met G.O. after service and told him what the doctors said and he replied: “You will go for the surgery and it will be successful. Come back and have your children in Jesus’ name.”

Dear brethren these words settled the matter. I went for surgery and the doctors said they would cut off my fallopian tube. I told them to wait because I did not tell my husband and my Daddy G.O that my fallopian tube will be cut. While saying this, I dozed off and the surgery was carried out.

One month after the surgery, I went for a check-up and the doctors asked me if anyone had told me what happened in the theatre on the day I was cut. I said no. Then the lead doctor said something strange happened.

According to him, they had no plans to open my naval for the C.S, but as they brought the machine to cut off my fallopian tubes, my hand pushed the machine away. They repeated the same thing and it happened again; then one of the officers said, “instead of cutting the fallopian tube, they should open the naval to know what is wrong.” He said, following the suggestion the fallopian tubes became normal.

After the surgery, my husband and I sowed a seed to appreciate God for the success of the surgery.

During the programme entitled: “From Sorrow To Joy” held in 2021, Daddy G.O mentioned my problem and prayed over it. The following month of the programme, precisely March, I was confirmed pregnant. And when the time of delivery came, doctors again said I would deliver the baby through C.S.

We had prepared everything needed for the C.S. and before I entered the theatre, my stomach began to act funny; so, I told the doctors that I would like to visit the ladies.” And as I started defecating, my daughter and son came out. My joy knew no bounds when l saw my twin babies.

Praise, the Lord! Hallelujah! Our God is so great.
