The world is dirty and has the capacity of denting any child of God that mingles with it. The ‘world’ in this context means the system, customs and traditions of the world that negate the word of God. The principles of the world are in sharp contrast with the standards of God’s word. The world has nothing to offer to anyone, but sorrow.

A believer that goes into the world has automatically lost God. The express command of God to believers is to be separated from the world. There is no gainsaying that the world looks for the best in the life of a believer to destroy it. That is the only target of the world, which is an epitome of the devil, to render a child of God empty. The young ones are warned to desist from every form of immorality because of the attendant effect and consequences of it.

Purity is the hallmark of a Christian and we must maintain it as champions of holiness. We are here to change the course of things the world over. This behoves us as believers to keep ourselves pure and unspotted from the world.

Obviously, the youths are faced with a lot of pressure and temptations, but the grace of God is sufficient to see them through. Friendship with the world is a shortcut to the destruction of one’s soul through immorality. Curious enough, friendship with the world is an enemy relationship before God.

Judas Iscariot, out of carelessness, sold his birthright. He was lost to a longtime eternity. Despite trying to make his ways right, he was rejected. And out of frustration, he hanged himself. He purchased his destruction with his own hand.

The world dangles all its beautiful allure to a Christian with the aim of taking him to hellfire. However, God has given us the grace to stand and overcome the world. We must be careful with the world; we must not think that we are more clever than the world and join them in their evil. The end of it will be regrettable. The right thing to do is to flee from the world.

Greed is the threshold to the world. Young ones who are greedy usually fall prey to the deceit of the devil. Those who live above their means and go after expensive gadgets and clothes that their parents cannot afford, face the danger of destroying their souls. The world cannot add any value to any man. The world is a broken cistern; it cannot retain water! This is the unfortunate feature of the world! Stop every attempt to go to the world. The world hurts and bites its victims; its scourges are unbearable!

The world is out to take righteousness from a believer who succumbs to its temptations. The righteousness we got from God is too expensive to be lost. Therefore, all believers must step up to maintain righteousness at all cost.
