Speaking after their presentation, Sanwo-Olu said that she was excited that they are standing and speaking up for the girl-child. She, however, said that there must be a balance at all times.

Commending the leader of the group, she said she was always proud of her work and pleased to work with her. Sanwo-Olu said she is also proud to identify with the girl-child, women and groups that champion their cause.

Applauding all those who participated in the walk, she said it was a good commitment that they woke up early to have the walk for the girl-child.

Mrs. Anthony Adaramola, who read the speech of the group, said they are concerned and wished to see girl-child reached their full potentials as well as achieve their dreams and aspirations unhindered.
