Why did you choose to pursue a career in digital marketing?
For me, I decided to chose the online space as a career path because apart from reaching a global marketplace, I could also reach an enormous audience in ways that are both cost-effective and measurable. Digital marketing gives you the privilege to interface with clients and know their pain points, they in turn, get to know you, this is how brand loyalty is created and formed.

What are the benefits of digital marketing?
There are so many benefits in digital marketing, firstly, it has redefined the old concept of traditional means of marketing and advertising to a more effective way of reaching out to potential clients. Digital marketing brings your brand to the fore and allow clients to see you as a legitimate business.

Secondly, with digital marketing, your scope just keeps expanding and people can easily locate you from anywhere in the world.

How do you prepare for success?
I always plan to succeed and it takes hard work, strategy, and tenacity of purpose. For every task I undertake, I have it imprinted in my heart and conscience that I must succeed. This is what guides me. An easier way to be successful is to ensure that you are doing the right thing, doing the right business and also doing it because you love it.

What were your greatest obstacles and how were you able to deal with it?
My greatest obstacles have all ended up being my biggest achievements, as funny as that sounds, it’s the reality. Most of the hurdles I feared, have become stepping stones to my next trail of successes. Always make it a point of duty to cast fear away, remove all distractions and be positive.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted businesses?
The Internet has its advantages and disadvantages. It can be very addictive and demanding. A digital marketer is always online, watching competition, learning and updating their craft with current trends. For businesses, you can actually do a lot with the Internet. Use it to your advantage, build your brand using all the tools you are presented with, sell digital products and create ebooks.

How do you blend life and work to create the life you want?
Adjusting to the digital space and its demand is very tough. I have needs to attend to, and I have a family that constantly need my attention as well. What I have been able to do is to figure out ways that I use in creating a genius work life balance. I no longer second guess myself, I just proactively do what is right.

What business advice would give young female entrepreneurs?
For young entrepreneurs, starting off on your own could be difficult, but please look at the bigger picture, write your goals and vision down, take bold steps and start to implement them, one after the other. In the long run, the hard work would pay off.

Are you working on any new project?
I am working on a new project which involves bringing female entrepreneurs In Africa together under one flagship. This forum will be the hub of entrepreneurship and will give many women the opportunity to express themselves by being the best that they can be in their niche.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Five years from now, so many other initiatives would have been brought in to bear. I hope to also work with more clients and have more brands to render my services to in the long run.

Internationally, I see more prospects and would pursue as many as I can.
