Text: 1 Corinthians 14:10-11; 1 Samuel 3:4-10
Behind every voice, there is a person or some invisible beings that say them. These evil creatures speak evil words in order to capture and manipulate the destinies of their victims. Satanic voices have a way of using evil words to deceive and confuse people. Whenever the wicked wants to attack a person, they use a familiar voice to call on his or her name in their coven. Immediately the victim answers, his or her destiny will be diverted and he could either run mad or die. I pray for you that anyone using a familiar voice to call your name from any coven, satanic altar or gathering, may they run mad without remedy in Jesus’ name.
Voices are indeed very powerful. In Exodus 2:1-10, we see the case of Moses who heard a voice in the wilderness and the trajectory of his life changed completely. Earlier on, he had resorted to a life of shepherding in the wilderness until he heard a voice in the burning bush encounter and he became a great deliverer to the Israelites in Egypt. Again, in Gen 3:1-7, Eve heard a voice in the garden of Eden and the entire human race is still suffering from the consequences of that voice she heard and obeyed. Equally, in 1 Kings 17:2-4, Elijah heard a voice that moved him from the comfort of his house to a cave by the brook Cherith. This move was for protection and provision. Understand this fact, that every man’s future is determined by the voice he hears and obeys. May you not hear the wrong voice?
In John 10:37, Jesus said: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them and they follow me.” Voices can be broadly grouped into four and the first of them is the voice of God. In 1Samuel 3:4-10, God called a young boy named Samuel in the night. God, however, used the voice of Eli, the priest, who was the authority figure that Samuel recognised at that time because of his age and inexperience. When he heard the voice, he ran to Eli three times until Eli instructed him what to do.
There are some persons who hear their names being called at night with a familiar voice and they answer, not knowing it is a demonic voice and they get afflicted or even die. Anyone standing before an evil mirror, pot or altar to call your name, may they answer their own summon in Jesus’ name.
The second group of voices is the voice of man. This is very physical and practical as we speak to one another daily. Thirdly, we have the voice of Satan. He speaks to men to bring temptation like he did to Jesus in Mat 4:1-10. We are not exempted from such temptations, irrespective of the anointing or spiritual authority you carry. Temptation is not a sin; it is your falling for it that becomes a sin.
Fourthly, we have the voices of spirits and there are different spirits speaking to the lives of men. May God open your ears to recognise the right voices and permanently silent every strange voices around you in Jesus’ name.
