Daniel described God as the Revealer of secrets. The King of Babylon at that time- King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, but could not remember or understand the dream.

He called for all his Chaldeans (wise men and sorcerers) but none of them had a clue or key to unlock the dream.

Eventually, Daniel was informed and he went to God in Prayers. Not only did God revealed the dream to him, He also gave him the interpretations to the dream. That is why Daniel called God, the One that unveils secrets.

“He revealeth the deep and secret things, he knoweth what is in the darkness, and light dwelleth with him” Dan. 2:22.

Men have secrets or what they consider secrets. In reality, there are no secrets in the universe, because what you call secret God knows. Sin alone has secrets, while virtue has none.

David committed adultery with Bathsheba and murdered her husband Uriah. He later married Bathsheba. He thought nobody knew about it except him and Joab, the captain of his army. But the revealer of secrets exposed their nefarious act to Prophet Nathan, who confronted King David. 2 Sam. 12:1-12.

Our God is all-knowing (Omniscience); therefore, nothing can be hidden from Him. Whatever you do in secret will be brought to the open. If we learn to walk with Him in righteousness and total obedient, He will reveal secrets to us.

The Lord, through the Holy Spirit revealed to Peter in Acts 5:1-14, what Ananias and his wife Sapphira did, how they sold their land and kept part of the money. Instead of telling the truth, they told lies.

Anytime we walk with God in faith, the Holy Spirit will always reveal information to us. Why don’t you call upon the Holy Spirit to reveal secrets about your future to you now!

‘The secret things belong unto the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our Children forever that we may do all the words of this law’… Deut. 29:29

There is this story of two brothers. One of them came to see me for prayers and counselling.

The two of them connived together while their mother was sleeping and suffocated her to death with a pillow. They did that because she confessed that she was a witch and responsible for their predicament. Years later, the eldest of them became sick and died mysteriously.

Before his death, he became paranoid, seeing the late mother trying to kill him.

Three years after his death, the second one that was alive became extremely sick and paranoid. They brought him to me for prayers.

The Lord said I should ask him what he did to his late mother. He later confessed what they did to their late mother.

The Lesson from this story is that no matter the evil done in the past, it will come back to haunt the person. You may appear to cover your sins but one day the revealer of all secrets will bring it to light.

‘Fear them not therefore, for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known’… Matt. 10:26.

In Joshua 7:15-21, Achan stole the accursed items during the conquest of Jericho. He hid it in a secret place and no one knew about it. As a result of his action, Israel was defeated in the battle at Ai.

Joshua inquired from God why they were defeated. God revealed to him that Achan had stolen and hidden the accursed items. Eventually Achan and his entire family paid for that single act of disobedience. I pray for you today, may the Lord reveal secrets about your life to you in Jesus name.
