The seed the lord has blessed

The blessings of the Lord make you rich and add no sorrow. There is no doubt that all good things come from God. In His divine wisdom, God chooses whom to bless.

1st Peter 2:9-1: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”

The blessings of the Lord make you rich and add no sorrow. There is no doubt that all good things come from God. In His divine wisdom, God chooses whom to bless.

When God comes into the life of a man, He brings posterity that would extend to his generations yet unborn. This means that good things will continue to happen in the lineage of the man. God always chooses a seed to bless among His people.

Isaiah 41:8-13 says: “But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend. 9: Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. 10: Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 11: Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing, and they that strive with thee shall perish. 12: Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.13: For I, the Lord, thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”

Abraham was one of the seeds that were blessed by God. He was called out from Ur in Chaldea to a land that God later gave to him and his descendants. Abraham’s choice was based on his faith in God, and for this, he was called the father of our faith. God promised that He would be with Abraham and also strengthen him. God’s promise to sustain Abraham was for his descendants — Isaac, Jacob down to the children of Jacob to be blessed and be part of the covenant. The covenant will continue till the messiah comes. God promised to be with him for protection; to ward off evil forces and even people that will rise against His covenanted people. It must be understood that God blesses a man for him to positively impact other people.

Again, Isaiah 61:9 says: “And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed.” Whoever God blesses will never remain the same. The person will be transformed spiritually, physically and materially. God’s blessings come in different dimensions. Financial breakthrough is just an aspect. The major one is spiritual empowerment that would propel one to win souls for His kingdom. The Bible makes it clearer in the lead scripture where Christians are described as a chosen generation and a royal priesthood.

Priests occupy a special position in the work of God. It is through them that people are directed to God. Prior to the giving of the law, the head of each family was the family priest (Gen. 8:20, 26:25, 31:54). When the law came, there was a promise for Israel (a kingdom of priests) to uphold perfect obedience to God (Exodus 19:6), but Israel failed thereby forcing God to shut up the priestly office to the Aaronic family and appointed the tribe of Levi to minister to Israel by constituting the typical priesthood (Exodus 28:1).

In the Church Age, all the Christians unconditionally constituted a kingdom of priests (Rev.1: 6). Priesthood in Christianity is, therefore, a birthright just as every descendant of Aaron is by right a priest. The chief privilege of a priest is access to God. It is worthy of note here that under the law, only the high priest enjoyed the privilege of entering into the holy of holies once a year (Heb.9: 7). However, with the death of Christ on the Cross of Calvary, the veil demarcating the pew from the holy of holies, which is a type of Jesus Christ’s human body (Heb. 10:20), tore into two to enable the believer-priest to have access to God (Heb.10: 19-22).

Carrying out his duties, the believer-priest offers his body, as a sacrifice; he continually thanks and praises God with his mouth and gives his substance and service to do good to all.

Access to God is a great privilege; it attracts God’s blessings. Going down memory lane, one will discover that God blessed the seed prior to the law of family priests. That is before making the tribe of Levi priests, particularly the Aaronic family and finally today, the believer-priest or the born again Christians. The believer-priest, whether a pastor, an evangelist, a teacher of the word, or a church worker who ministers the word to the people, is the Lord’s blessed seed.

As the Bible has instructed, they should proclaim the word to unbelievers. And if the church, the umbrella body for all Christians, shies away from this and begins to talk to itself, it would then be considered that the church is dead.

The church should launch out at all times to preach the word to unbelievers and to bring everyone on earth to the knowledge of God. God has empowered every believer to be a minister of the word. This gift must not lie fallow; it must be put to good use. Whoever fails to preach the word has lost that privilege. Matthew 20:16, says: “So the last shall be first, and the first the last: for many are called, but few are chosen.”

Whoever fails to meet the expectations God set for him will lose out. The Israelites were first chosen as a kingdom of priests, but they could not live up to the expectations of God. Again, our Lord Jesus Christ died for the sin of everyone in the world, but only a fraction of the people as of today have accepted Him as their Lord and Saviour.

There is no more time. The gospel must be preached to as many people as possible to bring them to repentance and also, to escape the condemnation that will befall the world. There is an urgent need for all Christians to rekindle the fire of evangelism and to take the task of soul-winning uppermost in their minds. The people who preached to others into repentance will shine like stars forever. Do not hesitate to preach Christ to others. It really has a great reward attached to it both here on earth, and in heaven.

Testimony Of The Lord’s Doing
God Used Me To Complete Building Project
MATT.19: 26 says: “But Jesus beheld them and said unto them, With men this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.”

I am Sister Ogochukwu Ozoemena. I reside at Ago-Palaceway and joined the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries in 2010.

There was this building project that my husband’s brother started in 2015, but, which was later abandoned. Whenever I reminded my husband of the project, he would tell me to forget it. According to him, it was not a pressing need. With this, I became worried, especially when the General Overseer preaches such cases. Last October, God, in His infinite mercy, helped me and I completed the storey building. I also furnished it to taste. Marvelled at the building, some people asked if I went to school of architecture, but I told them that the God of Chosen gave me the wisdom and not school of architecture.

In another development, my son took ill in January this year, and l took him to the hospital, but instead of getting better, things were becoming worse. We had to leave the hospital for the church’s Tuesday and Thursday services. It was through this that my son was healed.

The week that my son recovered from his sickness, I slept and in my dream, somebody gave me an injection. Although I woke up and cancelled the dream, I began to experience a terrible cough after a week. The cough was so severe that I had blood in the phlegm. This degenerated to the stage that each time I coughed, urine and faeces would come out simultaneously. I presented the matter before God in the Tuesday and Thursday services, and he gave me divine healing.

Then, on the Thursday service before the Kogi State Crusade, General Overseer mentioned my case twice and prayed, immediately God intervened, I began to get some relief and gradually everything cleared off.

When the enemies saw that their plans have failed, one of my brothers-in-law called me and asked where I usually get my charms. I told him that I do not do any charm; rather the God of Chosen is my refuge. I told him that I am a member of The Lord’s Chosen. Praise the Lord. I thank God for fighting my battle and giving me victory.
