USA-based group tasks ACE students on creativity, donates materials

A Canada-based organisation, Indigo Ink Art Studio, USA, has enjoined Nigerian students to apply their latent potentials for self-reliance and national development.

Speaking at a seminar/exhibition on arts and design of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Adeyemi College of Education (ACE), Ondo. the representative of the organisation, Mrs. Titilola Olude, said the partnership with Nigerian institutions aims to inspire Nigerians living abroad to participate in rebuilding the country and also to collaborate with their professional colleagues in the country to impact new skills to others.

Olude, who is also the founder of Promisedland Foundation, presented some materials worth several thousands of dollars to the school from their foreign partners to help the institution key into global best practices in fine and applied arts.

The Provost of the College, Prof. Olukoya Ogen, lauded the foreign partners for their contributions, adding that the knowledge transfer between Canada and Nigerian institutions will go a long way to improve the preservation and promotion of the nation’s identity through arts.
