If we aspire to walk with God, we must seek to be holy as He is holy.

A holy fear of God, and a humble fear of ourselves, will restrain us from sin, and engage us to be obedient and loyal to His service.

All believers that engage in the Lord’s service should know that walking in the fear of God demands absolute gentleness and holiness, which should be the object of their constant prayers.

This is because, if those that are called God’s Children are contemptible, then the gospel will be despised.

So, as we engage ourselves in the Lord’s service, we must not forget that we have in all intents entered into partnership with the Holy Spirit, hence we must maintain holiness and righteousness.

We should never take the partnership of the Holy Spirit for granted, for He is there to excite us to diligence, purify our hearts, and encourage us to make strenuous efforts to overcome our sins.

If we desire to walk in the fear of God without any effort of our own to be pure, we will never become pure. Our purity stems from our own strenuous efforts to resist the devil and become like God.

The aim of every Christian is to attain perfection in all things, including in the love of God, man, perfection of the heart, and feeling, and emotion; perfection in His words, plans, and dealings with men; perfection in his prayers, and in his submission to God’s will.

No man can be a Christian who does not sincerely desire purity, and who does not constantly aim at it. And any man, who has no desire to be perfect as God is, and who does not make it his daily and constant aim to be as perfect as God, should not lay claim to being a believer.

Hebrew 12:14 “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”

If you want to see and walk with God, you must follow peace with all men with no exception, whether believer or unbeliever, whether those that love you or those that don’t love you.

There is no excuse why you should not maintain peace. Peace is essential in our relationship with God because that is His condition to having relationship with Him.

As you are living your Christian life in secret and open, I implore you to maintain purity, holiness, which the Bible said without it no eyes shall see the Lord. God is holy and whoever that walks with Him must walk in holiness.

Leviticus 20:26 “And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.”

If you want to see God, the condition is that you must be holy, for He is holy.

Anybody who wants to enter heaven must not joke with holiness, because that is the standard of God, which was given to us, and we must meet that requirement, if we must be with Him.

Romans 2:11 “For there is no respect of persons with God”

Everybody, including leader, worker, pastor, elder, General Overseer is required to maintain holiness, regardless of your statutes, colour and race, for God is not a respecter of any person. There is no partiality in God’s judgment.

So, everybody is bound to this principle, for that is what God wants from you, and me that is His standard in whatever we are doing in His house.

Thus, we must know that our works cannot be exchanged for holiness. We must maintain holiness and should not say because we are ushers, evangelists, leaders or pastors, therefore boast we do not have need for holiness. Your service to the Lord cannot take the position of holiness in your life.

Beloved, everything shall be judged by God. Thus, nobody should condone sin, no matter how highly placed he/she is. T

hose who walk in sins cannot escape God’s judgment, no matter their position. So, beloved, endeavour to maintain purity, for God shall not look at your position or title.
