Zinnia house wins kids court inter-house sport competition
Zinnia House, also known as Green House has emerged winner of the 5th edition of the annual Kids Court Schools inter-house sports competition.
The competition, which involved four houses and held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere Lagos saw Zinnia House emerging in the first position as the overall winner, while Camellia (Red House) came second and Orchid (Blue House) was third, as well as being declared the best house at the competition.
In his speech, chairman of the event, Mr. Temilolu Adedamola Salako, commended the school for the games, which he said help to build character, encourage competitiveness and healthy rivalry amongst the students.
He also praised the PTA members, made up of the parents and teachers for their everyday loving support to see that the school continues to grow and achieve its mission goal of moulding well rounded children that are not only academically sound, but also morally, physically and mentally balanced.
The Art Teacher/Head of Production, Hakeem Adegoke Are, said the school’s desire to develop the children’s skills and talents to enable them excel in future, prompted the management organise the annual event.
