Soldiers shoot DPO dead after 'evading checkpoint' in Sokoto

A Divisional Police Officer (DPO), identified as SP Liman Haliru, has been killed by soldiers for allegedly evading a military checkpoint in Sokoto. A security source and media analyst, Zagazola Makama, reliably informed that on August 28, 2024, at
