IN an efforts to help Nigerian students acquire Career in the Information Technology (IT), Aptech, through its Career Programme called Aptech Certified Computer Professional (ACCP) has offered scholarships worth 90 million naira to Nigerian students who participated in the Programme.

The Executive Vice President-International Business, Aptech, Mr. Pravir Arora, said the 2015 edition  attracted overwhelmed responses from the students in Nigeria with over 2000 students across all locations including Abuja, Lagos, Calabar, Enugu others.

According to him, the fair held in alliance with the Middlesex University, London promoted the career program which gives students a chance to get a B.Sc. degree from Middlesex University, London. As an encouragement to students enrolling for the course, both the Middlesex University and Aptech gave 50% scholarship to students. The total amount of scholarships given was 90 million nairas.

Arora noted that from a humble beginning 15 years ago when people were unaware of the benefits of a career in IT, we have reached a level wherein people are well-informed and eager to learn about the various aspects of IT.

However, we at Aptech believe in imparting world-class education to the students with the latest technologies. This is what makes us stand out from the crowd. Career Quest is a great platform to encourage the students to pursue a career in IT.’

This initiative gives students an opportunity to study abroad in a cost-effective way.
