Itel reaffirms commitment to equal tech access

Itel has reiterated its commitment to providing equal access to advanced technology for citizens.Disclosing this at the launch of its Super S26 Ultra, BTL Marketing Manager, Itel Nigeria, Taiwo Mojisola Abdullai, said the new device reflects the brand’s evolution from a mobile phone manufacturer to a tech empowerment brand.
 
“Equal access to technology is giving people advanced innovation without putting a hole in their pocket. That is what we are trying to do here. Even if all you have is less than N300,000, there is a smartphone for you that gives you AI adoption and makes everyday life easier,” she said.
 
The Super S26 Ultra introduces several firsts for the brand, including Corning Gorilla Glass for extra screen durability, AI-sensitive touch technology that functions even in the rain, and a Do It Yourself (DIY) phone case, a feature Abdullai described as the first of its kind in the market.
 
ATL Marketing Manager, Itel Mobile Olorunnimbe Dolapo, highlighted additional incentives tied to the device. Customers will receive a 2005 airtime bonus from 9mobile, 1.5GB MTN data, six months of Movie Box access, and one month of Boomplay music subscription.
   
Dolapo also announced that the Super S26 Ultra comes with an industry-first six-year warranty, which he said no other smartphone brand in Nigeria currently offers.
