Nigerian TikToker Rodney signs multi-million Naira deal with Sidegig

Sidegig, a Nigerian based online freelance platform that pays its freelancers to complete simple tasks/gigs.

The platform has been around for over four years with over 100k registered users and has paid out over 200 Million Naira to its users as stated on their website https://www.sidegig.co.

Sidegig signed Rodney (Umeh Rodney), the fast-rising Tiktok influencer tagged as being the most creative and creator of the most relatable contents on Tiktok with over 3.7 Million followers. The verified Tiktok influencer (Rodney – Umeh Rodney) and his Manager (Nelson Fagbemi Oluwaseun) met with the Nigeria Sidegig representative Inart (Oghenetega Ahweyevu Ovbagbedia) for the signing and other branding related photoshoot and contents.

Since the collaboration, the platform made their plans known to extend their services to all parts of Africa and eventually outside Africa. 

Sidegig pays its freelancers to complete simple tasks, with a minimum withdrawal limit of N4,000. Freelancer’s earnings are sent directly to their submitted bank account after the wait period meant for checking of the submitted gigs to ensure only dedicated freelancers are paid.

The platform recently added the “Brands” section for brands who can create gigs/tasks to get completed by Sidegig Freelancers. The platform guarantees high completion rate and are being used by many major brands around Nigeria and the world in general.
