PaceAI wants to save IT Professionals 15 hours/week writing software documentation

In today’s fast-paced world of IT, time is everything. IT Professionals are under constant pressure to keep up, balancing project timelines, client needs, and the never-ending task of keeping documentation up to date. This is where PaceAI comes in a tool designed to free up valuable hours in a workweek by handling the heavy lifting of software documentation, saving IT professionals up to 15 hours every week. Founded by Nelson Uzenabor and Patrick Giwa, PaceAI has one goal: to make software documentation easy so that professionals can focus on what they do best.

The Story Behind PaceAI
It’s no secret that the rise of AI has supercharged productivity across industries. Trends like automation, improved workflows, and faster delivery have redefined expectations. But amidst this shift, Nelson and Patrick noticed something—despite all the new tools, professionals still found themselves bogged down by repetitive documentation work. They saw firsthand the frustrations that IT teams faced and decided to do something about it. In 2023, they dove headfirst into research, pulling apart existing solutions and talking directly with IT pros to learn what was missing.

As Nelson explains, “We realized there wasn’t a single solution that could take software documentation from start to finish. The existing tools were fragmented, leaving a lot of gaps that people had to fill manually.” Inspired by feedback from focus groups, they set out to build a solution that would close these gaps.
Starting with a minimum viable product (MVP) that included a handful of templates for different software documentation needs, PaceAI quickly gained traction. In April 2023, after just a month of tweaking and feedback, the product launched officially and reached £5,000 in monthly recurring revenue almost immediately.

Addressing a Big Problem for IT Professionals
One key insight that fueled PaceAI’s development was the staggering rate of project failures in IT. In the UK alone, it’s estimated that 76% of IT projects fail, racking up an annual cost of £37 billion. Poor documentation plays a huge role in these failures. When teams don’t have clear objectives, reliable data, or consistent alignment, things start to unravel. “Software Documentation should empower teams to succeed, not be a barrier,” says Patrick. “We wanted to make a tool that removes that obstacle.”

With PaceAI.co, IT professionals have access to ready-made templates that take the guesswork out of documentation. Instead of starting from scratch, users can generate detailed, accurate software documentation like User story, SRS, and flowcharts quickly and get back to more strategic tasks. It’s a game-changer where every hour saved can be put toward moving projects forward.

Making a Real Difference for IT Professionals

At its core, PaceAI is about making life easier for IT professionals. By automating the repetitive parts of software documentation, the tool lets users focus on what really matters: delivering quality work and solving complex problems. And the impact goes beyond saving time. As Patrick puts it, “When you’re not bogged down by tedious tasks, you feel better about your work. That positive feeling loops back to improved productivity and reduces stress.”

With PaceAI.co, professionals can generate high-quality, customized software documentation in minutes instead of hours, giving them more time to focus on meaningful projects. This doesn’t just benefit the individual positively impacts teams, clients, and the overall success of IT projects.

Nelson and Patrick aren’t stopping here. They have big plans for PaceAI, including more customization options, an even more intuitive user experience, and tools to meet the growing demands of the individual IT professional. “The landscape is constantly changing,” says Nelson, “and we’re committed to staying ahead of those changes to keep delivering value to our users.”

Their message to IT professionals is clear: “With PaceAI, you can stop losing hours on software documentation and start focusing on what really counts.”
