How will Australia enforce its under-16s social media ban?

How will the ban work? Australian children below the age of 16 will be unable to have social media accounts under the ban. Social media companies will be required to take “reasonable steps” to ensure there are no workarounds. If they don’t enforce the ban, they could face fines of up to $50 million.
