What does “Sexual Rights” have to do with children?

Are “sexual rights” really what our children are being taught about?

A growing debate surrounds the content of sexuality education, with terms like “sexual and reproductive health and rights” and “bodily autonomy” at its center. While proponents see these as tools for teaching crucial life skills like boundaries and consent, concerns are mounting about how these concepts are being presented and their appropriateness for different age groups.

Online claims about the World Health Organization’s guidance, touching on topics from sexual intercourse to pornography, are circulating widely. But are these claims accurate? It’s vital to critically examine these claims against the actual WHO documents to understand the context and intended audience.

The real question isn’t just *if* children should receive sexuality education, but *what* they are learning. We need factual, transparent conversations, not fear-mongering headlines or out-of-context rumors.
