What role does China play in India-Pakistan tensions?

Following a terror attack in Kashmir, tensions between India and Pakistan are rising. The US and China have called for de-escalation. China, however, maintains ties in the region. DW spoke with China expert Chietigi Bajpaee about Beijing’s strategy.
