Former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, has urged his successor, Emeka Ihedioha, to open the cargo section of the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport for operations.
He noted that his (Okorocha’s) administration built the section for the economic benefit of the state.
In a statement issued yesterday by his Special Adviser on Media, Sam Onwuemeodo, the former governor also appealed to well meaning Imo citizens to urge Ihedioha to open the airport for the state’s socio-economic benefits.
