Imo State Governor Emeka Ihedioha has assured that all projects to be executed by his administration across the state would not compromise standards and quality.
Ihedioha gave the assurance during a tour of the 27 council areas in the state where he inspected and assessed projects built by the Chairmen of Interim Management Committees.
So fare, he had visited seven council areas, where he stressed the benefits and importance of the ongoing construction of a befitting secretariat complex, mini stadium and sports centre in the council areas.
He also directed the Chairman of Ezinihitte Council Area to terminate the contract for the construction of the stadium, citing poor quality work by the contractor.
Also addressing traditional rulers in the local governments he visited, Ihedioha emphasised the need to oversight the projects embarked on by the state government and also ensure their protection.
