Kebbi State Governor Abubakar Bagudu yesterday swore in 16 new commissioners at the Government House chambers.The 16 took oath of office as members of the State Executive Council (SEC) before the Chief Judge, Justice Suleiman Ambursa.

Speaking shortly after the swearing in, the governor thanked the House of Assembly for the speedy confirmation of the nominees.“We thank you for accepting to serve our state despite your lucrative jobs. We also laud the two female commissioners in the new cabinet for the various achievements in their respective callings,” he said.Bagudu, however, told them to prepare for the challenges ahead.
