Newly signed MTN Pulse Ambassador, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, well known as Skales, celebrated his birthday on April 1, with the release of his first official single from the yet to be released sophomore album, I Want You. Ghanaian producer, DJ Breezy, produced the song, while the video was shot in Ibadan, Oyo State by Unlimited L.A.

As part of activities marking his birthday, he took his fans out to the cinema, and gave out shoes to some through the social media.
   
According to the Shake Body singer, “everything I have right now was given to me by God, my mother and my fans. I try my best to make sure my mom is comfortable wherever she is, and now is the time to appreciate my fans for their love and support. What better way to say thank you those who have been there for me.”

He explained that the final competition was done asking fans to download a movie app and share on social media. The first 20 people, who downloaded the naira box app and shared on social media, were announced winners. Since the release on April 1, the new hit has been well received by music lovers as well as fans alike on social media, and dominated airwaves across the country.
    
Weekend Beat gathered that Shake Body, the lead single in the Man Of The Year album, hit six million views on the online video streaming platform, YouTube. Meanwhile, Skales is putting finishing touch on the sophomore album and he is not leaving any stone unturned following the critical acclaim of Man Of The Year last year.
