Contrary to reports online that Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, publicly rejected Jesus as his savior, the OAP has has come out on his social media platform to debunk the news, describing it as “false, very pathetic, and an attempt by mischief makers to use my name and image to make headlines.”

According Freeze, who is the leader of #FreeTheSheeple Movement, “This is junk journalism. I don’t have a problem with Christianity or Christ, as I remain a Christian preacher and teacher. I just have a problem with the word ‘Jesus’ that is only about 400 years old and is a white washed Europeanised version of the true savior Ye’shua.”

He said, “My Instagram bio even clearly states Free Nation in Christ, how did you miss out the Christ part? I preach about the real savior, who is the ‘Christ’ and his Hebrew name is Yahushua/Ye’shua, so, where did I reject Christianity,” he quizzed.

He continued: “Shame on you the media house for this puerile journalism bordering on obscurantism. I expected so much more professionalism than this cowpat.”

He urged the public to desist from believing in media platforms that carry fake news and misleading representation of his Christian faith, describing the act as “unethical second rate journalism that I refuse to be associated with.”
