The face-off between the in-house union of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Council (NIPC) and its Executive Secretary (ES), Yewande Sadiku, came to a climax yesterday, as the unionists picketed the establishment’s headquarters in Abuja.
Addressing reporters, the union chairman, Comrade Yussuf Mustapha, accused the ES of paying deaf eyes to staff welfare.
He claimed that every civil effort to resolve the issue amicably was allegedly disdained by the chief executive and her team.
Contacted, NIPC’s Head of Corporate Communication, Mr. Emeka Offor, promised to send his reactions that never came as at press time.
