The former Group Politics Editor of The Guardian, Mr Akpo Esajere, has lost his wife, Pastor Mrs Sylvia Eqwutosilam Esajere.

She passed on yesterday, May 7, 2021, at 5:45 am. Late Sylvia succumbed to cancer, which she had fought for six years.

Until her death, she was the Sales Manager of The Sun Newspaper. A dedicated Christian, she served as a pastor and choir leader of Amazing Grace Pentecostal Church, Palmgrove, Lagos.

She is survived by her husband, Akpo Esajere, children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
