
Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Greg Nnaji, and Special Adviser to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Development and Director-General, Enugu SMEs Centre, Arinze Chilo-Offiah, who represented the state at the summit, maintained that active participation in the summit would attract greater investments to the state.
The USNIIS 2021 summit with the theme: Nigeria, The Future Of Global Business, was organised by a consortium of Nigerian Diasporas in the United States (U.S.) and U.S. partners, as a premier public-private platform for effective bilateral and mutually beneficial economic engagements between Nigeria and the U.S.
They explained that Ugwuanyi’s administration indicated interest and participated in the event in consonance with its vision of investment promotion, the objectives of the summit and benefits of the diversification of Nigeria’s economy, as well as economic development of the state.
